Day Tours:
Hebron
Travel south to the historic city of Hebron, revered by all three monotheistic faiths as the burial site of Abraham. Today, Hebron is divided into two zones: H1, administered by the Palestinian Authority, and H2, under Israeli control. The city is home to approximately 160,000 Palestinians and around 500 Israeli settlers, with fences, checkpoints, and boundaries separating the two areas. Despite these divisions, tourists are able to move freely between them.
Nearby lies the old city, where only a handful of shops remain in the Palestinian sector due to increasingly restriction of movement imposed by the Israeli army. Hebron is also renowned for its traditional glass craftsmanship, and you’ll have the chance to visit a local workshop to see artisans at work.
After lunch, you’ll return toward Bethlehem with a stop in the village of Battir. Known for its ancient agricultural terraces, Battir is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site. The villagers cultivate their produce here and have launched a self-funded restoration initiative to preserve their heritage. Take time to browse the local museum and enjoy a cup of tea in one of the quaint teashops before heading back to Bethlehem.
The price is US$ 80 per person including transportation from and to Bethlehem, English Speaking guide, Lunch.
Jericho
Today’s journey eastward leads to Jericho, with a stop en route at St. George’s Monastery – nestled deep within a dramatic desert valley. Jericho itself sits near the northern tip of the Dead Sea, where the Jordan River meets its waters. It was along this river that Jesus was baptized, and the site remains accessible for visitors.
In Jericho, explore Hisham’s Palace, an archaeological site featuring Umayyad era ruins and an exquisite surviving mosaic. Then ascend the Mount of Temptation by cable car, where a cliffside monastery commemorates the biblical moment when Jesus resisted the devil.
The Tel Assultan, an ancient mound nearby, reveals traces of human settlement dating back nearly 10,000 years – making it one of the oldest inhabited cities in the world. After soaking in the layers of history, return to Bethlehem in the afternoon.
The price is US$ 100 per person including transportation from and to Bethlehem, English Speaking guide, lunch, cable car, entrance fees.
Nablus
This morning’s journey winds through the hills toward Nablus, a city nestled in a narrow valley between two mountains. With roots tracing back to Roman times, Nablus is overlooked by Mount Gerizim, home to one of the region’s last remaining Samaritan communities.
Begin with a visit to Jacob’s Well before delving into the old city – a maze of alleyways filled with vibrant shops and market stalls. Stop by traditional spice vendors and witness the making of knafeh, a beloved dessert made of syrup-soaked cheese pastry. Nablus is also famed for its artisanal soap, crafted using age-old techniques.
Drive to the village of Sebastya where you can see the ruins of an ancient Roman city. The Roman Theatre, still standing with grandeur, offers a scenic spot for your trip. You’ll also find remnants of temples and a church believed to be the site of John the Baptist’s beheading – his remains are said to rest in the village mosque.
The price is US$ 100 per person including transportation from and to Bethlehem, English Speaking guide, lunch.
The tours will take place on 15+16 April and 18+19 April 2026.
